Wow... this song is actually insane! This is literally blowing my mind.
The mixing is super clean, and the same can be said about the sound design. But most of all, it's a banger!

What a merry Christmas indeed!

Ryzmik responds:

Hehe thanks for the kind words! To be honest I just added EQs and compressors for most of the sounds and then balance them, I guess that's enough for a decent mix. The basses were oneshots samples, not much stuff was designed by myself.

This reminds me so much of Bemanibeats. It's just so upbeat and the lead just sounds so happy and cute!

Keep it up, I LOVE IT!

UmValent responds:

Just listened to some BemaniBeats tracks, they're pretty funkeh and energetic. Glad you enjoyed! :D

"One Hell of a Winter" is such an ironic title imo.
This song creeps me out just a little... I like it!

CIEIRMusic responds:

Initially it was meant to be literal, but I suddenly randomly remembered the phrase "When Hell Freezes Over." Which is often what people say when they say something is impossible or refuse to do something they don't normally do. I've only seen two jokes on Simpsons and Robot Chicken on Hell freezing over. Yet no serious literal hypothesis. So I got to thinking "If Hell froze over would the inhabitants use that as an opportunity to escape?"

Quite relaxing in a certain way. I like your abstract style here as well.

CIEIRMusic responds:

Abstract? AWESOME!! Sorry I never knew this was abstract. I have this bad habit of trying to make something good only to make something better than I realize. I am so using that as a tag from here on.

I would love it if this was some bossfight theme!

IyuriI responds:

Oh, actually, it sounds like that :DD

This gives me Stepmania flashbacks...

Amazing.

Hardstylerz2007 responds:

Thanks I appreciate it!

I like the idea! This song sounds quite progressive. Too bad it's 3 minutes long because if this was 5 minutes long there would have been more space for the drop.

You could also sidechain the instruments so they don't clash with the drums as much. Apart from that, keep up the work! I really liked the concept overall.

Aster responds:

Yea, other songs will use sidechaining on EVERYTHING

I really like how this one turned out! Although compared to me and many others on this website you haven't really produced music for a long time, your musical skills are impressive! I really like how this song has a progressive melody and harmony; it's not really what you see on NG nowadays.

Great job! Keep it up!

OVERSCORE responds:

Yeah, I’m relatively new to making REAL music, but I’ve listened to music for a long time. I always try to be different, thank you so much!

By the way… down in the links section, you’ll see one labeled “How I Started.” That is where most of my so-called musical skill was developed.

Good morning, afternoon and evening!
